Counselling
Coming alongside you on your journey
a co-created therapeutic space
Each person chooses to engage with a counsellor for different reasons in different seasons of life. Perhaps you have a clearly defined issue or challenge that brings you to seek a counsellor, or maybe it's more of an underlying feeling that you can't shake. As a counsellor, I aim to nurture a supportive and non-judgmental space where I can meet my clients where they are, and come alongside them as they navigate life's challenges.
By creating a therapeutic space together, I aim to support my clients in leading a holistically healthy and vibrant life.NOTE: I am not currently accepting new clients, but I would be glad to receive your interest via the enquiry form and will get back to you when I have availability.

My Approach
My therapeutic practice is rooted in the belief that each person has intrinsic worth, and goes through life expressing an innate desire for self-esteem and relational value. We inevitably encounter circumstances in our lives that challenge our sense of worth, causing us emotional and psychological pain.My role, as an integrative counsellor, is to come alongside my clients as they explore and seek to understand better how their sense of worth has been challenged and eroded by circumstances and experiences.Through collaboration with them, I aim to carefully draw from a range of therapeutic modalities to find what best supports them in growing beyond their life challenges towards becoming more emotionally mature and holistically healthy.NOTE: I am not currently accepting new clients, but I would be glad to receive your interest via the enquiry form and will get back to you when I have availability.

What do counselling sessions generally look like?
A counselling session generally consists of a weekly 50-minute time slot which occurs at the same time each week. As we establish a therapeutic relationship, we will work together to determine how you would like to utilise each session, tailoring it to your specific needs.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions a person needs depends mainly on the individual and the specific issues they want to address. Therefore, I practise an open-ended approach to counselling. However, we will conduct regular reviews (every 6-8 weeks) to discuss the progress of your therapeutic journey.
What will happen after I fill in the
enquiry form?
I will get in touch to discuss mutual availability, and look to arrange the initial assessment session. The assessment session is not in itself a counselling session, but rather a time to explore what brings you to counselling at this time, and how we might work together. After this session, if we agree to start working together, I will send you a counselling contract to sign, and a client information form for you to fill in. Once these forms have been signed, we will arrange a regular weekly time for our sessions.
What is your session cancellation policy?
You are free to cancel any scheduled session at no charge up to 48 hours beforehand or make a payment in lieu of notice (unless exceptional circumstances apply) as follows :- The full fee if less than 24hrs notice
- £25 if more than 24hrs notice but less than 48hrs.
How and when should I pay for my sessions?
Payment details will be shared with you before our assessment session. Please make payment on the day of each session.
